An unattended store the size of a fridge

Autonomous vending replaces the coin box and the spiral motor with a lock, a set of sensors and a payment terminal. Everything else about it is just a very well‑stocked cooler.

The four seconds that matter

01 · Authorize

The reader holds, it doesn’t charge

A contactless tap places a temporary authorization on the card. Nothing is charged yet, because nothing has been picked up yet. If the door never opens, the hold drops off on its own.

02 · Unlock

The door releases

An electronic latch opens for that shopper only. One tap, one session. The door relocks the moment it closes.

03 · Detect

The shelves count what left

Each shelf tracks the items removed and returned during the session, which is why you can pick something up, read the label and put it back with no charge.

04 · Settle

Checkout runs in about a minute

The session closes, the basket is priced and the card is charged for exactly what walked away. A receipt follows by text or email.

Behind the glass

What we watch so you don’t have to

The machine reports to us continuously. Nobody at your site has to notice a problem, count anything or call it in.

Live stock levels

Every machine reports what is on the shelf right now. We see a row running low from the office before anyone at your site notices a gap.

Item-level sales

We know which products move at your site specifically. A cooler in a gym gets a different mix than one in a warehouse, and the mix keeps changing.

Temperature

Refrigeration is monitored. If a unit drifts out of range, we know before the product does.

Restock history

Every service visit is logged, so there is a record of when the machine was filled and by whom.

Pricing

Prices are set centrally and pushed to the machine. No stickers, no hand‑cranked dials, no arguing over a wrong price.

Payment questions

Every session is itemized and timestamped, so “I think I was charged twice” has an actual answer instead of a shrug.

Fair warning

What a smart cooler is not

It is not a full micro-market

A micro-market is an open shelving area with a self‑checkout kiosk, and it needs a secured room to work. A smart cooler is a locked door — it works in a hallway, a lobby or a shop floor.

It is not a revenue line for the host

We don’t charge you and we aren’t paying you rent for the floor space. The return is that your people stop leaving the building for a drink, and that something is open at 5am and 11pm when nothing else is.

Tell us the room, the headcount and the hours. We will tell you straight whether a machine makes sense there — and we will say no when it doesn’t.
